About

Rosanna Kelly-Amirault joined the Lifemark team in 2004 working out of the Amherst, NS clinic. In 2007, Rosanna transferred to the New Glasgow Clinic and took on the additional role of Clinic Director in 2011. Rosanna holds two Bachelor of Science Degrees, majoring in Biology at Mount Saint Vincent University and majoring in Physiotherapy at McGill University. Rosanna has continued her education following University by taking many courses in Manual and Manipulative Therapy, movement disorders and acupuncture. Rosanna has successfully completed the Intermediate Manual and Manipulative Therapy Examination as well as the Credential examination for the Canadian Acupuncture Institute. Rosanna completed her Advanced Diploma in manual and Manipulative therapy in 2012. Rosanna has a sports background, having been a synchronize swimmer for 10 years and a coach for 5 years. Rosanna has accumulated volunteer sports hours in both high school rugby and Junior A hockey and one day hopes to complete her Diploma in Sports Physiotherapy. Rosanna believes that a “well body” is a “strong body”, and emphasizes home exercises as an integral component of achieving and maintaining progress in physiotherapy. Education, combined with manual therapy and exercise are key to ensuring the patient has the best possible outcome from treatment.
