Sean graduated in 2017 with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Texas State University in Austin,Texas after completing an Honours degree in Anthropology at McMaster University and a Baccalaureate of Education at the University of Ottawa. In 2018, Sean completed an American Board of Physical Therapy Specialists post-professional residency in neurology and vestibular rehabilitation.
Sean has been member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association since 2018 and the American Physical Therapy Association since 2014. Sean has presented research in both movement impairment syndromes and concussion rehabilitation at the American Physical Therapy Association national conference and at the World Confederation for Physical Therapy Conference, leading to recognitions from Texas State University and the American Physical Therapy Association.
Sean’s physiotherapy practice is focused on vestibular and neurology rehabilitation. He utilizes movement analysis and exercise prescription to re-educate muscular and nervous systems, enabling each patient to achieve their individual goals. With a patient-centred treatment approach, Sean empowers patients through education about their current condition and methods to meet their goals. He is an advocate for continued learning, actively seeking out opportunities for post-graduate education to improve patient care and further develop as a clinician.
Being active is an important part of Sean’s life. He enjoys a wide array of activities such as weight lifting, swimming, running and rock climbing/bouldering. Sean is also an avid hiker, and regularly visits the Bruce Trail with his family when not travelling abroad in search of new hiking opportunities. Sean is a firm believer in being physically active in order to enjoy full health and longevity.
