September (Amber) has been a registered massage therapist for over 20 years and has experience treating MVA injuries, repetitive strain/sprain, sports injuries and TMJ dysfunction. Amber is a student of Ortho-Bionomy and is interested in learning more about concussions, whiplash and related dysfunctions. Amber graduated from Okanagan College of Massage Therapy in 1996 and has a Bachelor of Physical Education from University of Calgary. She taught for many years at the OVCMT in Vernon, BC. She found this to be a rewarding experience and it greatly broadened her knowledge and understanding of massage therapy.
Amber uses various treatment approaches and modalities including the use of trigger point release, cranial massage, visceral massage, cupping and curve tool treatments, and the prescription of therapeutic exercise. Amber’s goal is to provide compassionate and exceptional massage therapy care.
In her personal life, Amber has a keen interest in health, football, traveling, photography, spending time with her dog Ziggy, enjoying great food & wine, and various outdoor activities.
