About

Shawn graduated from the University of Saskatchewan in 2012 with a Master's Degree of Physical Therapy. During that time, he worked as a student trainer and equipment manager with the U of S Men's Hockey Team from 2008 to 2012. 

He worked initially in Edson, Alberta in public health, where he volunteered with the Holy Redeemer High School Football team for a season to help with injury management. From there he moved to Regina, Saskatchewan in 2015 and has worked with private sports and orthopedic care, Pioneer Village Long Term Care and Wascana Rehabilitation Center with SGI Tertiary claims and Outpatient Neuro Rehab.

Since graduating, Shawn also continues to further his education with being certified in practicing Biomedical Dry Needling, completing up to level 3 upper and lower quadrant courses with the Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal (AIM) Physiotherapy Program, The Running Clinic course, Reconditioning HQ as well along with strength, conditioning and power/plyometric training related courses.

Outside of work, Shawn loves to spend quality time with his 2 children and wife and keep active through weight lifting, rugby, golf, snowboarding and hockey in his free time. His approach to patient care is putting the patient first, taking the time to listen and thoroughly assess and treat everyone, working with them each on achieving their personal goals. He is looking forward to meeting you and thankful to have to opportunity to help you on your way to better health.
