About

Zoie is a Registered Occupational Therapist with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists and a member of the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists. She holds a Master of Science in Occupational therapy from the University of Alberta. Prior to her graduate studies, she completed a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Lethbridge where she developed a strong interest in physical and mental health.

She strives to deliver evidence-based, client centred care through a collaborative and goal-oriented approach. Zoie strives to tailor her treatment to the individual and will think outside the box to address any unique needs of that person. She believes that everyone should have the opportunity to participate in the activities they want and need to do and is eager to problem solve with her clients on how they can achieve their goals.

Zoie is currently welcoming new clients who may be experiencing anxiety, depression, chronic pain, concussion symptoms, or cognitive challenges. She has experience in helping adults manage anxiety, trauma, chronic pain, and ergonomics. Zoie incorporates a range of therapeutic approaches into her practice, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), to support her clients in achieving their goals.

She was born in rural Alberta and moved to Edmonton to pursue her career in Occupational Therapy. She keeps herself busy with many hobbies including running, reading, gardening, and working out. She also enjoys baking, listening to music and spending time with her cat, Margot.
