Physiotherapist

About

Kenyu completed his Master of Physical Therapy at the University of Western Ontario in 2025 after earning a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Calgary.

Having grown up in Asia in a multicultural and multilingual environment, Kenyu developed a strong appreciation for the role of communication in healthcare. He strives to create a welcoming and supportive environment where patients feel heard, understood, and actively involved in their care. His diverse background allows him to help bridge communication barriers and ensure patients have a clear understanding of their condition, treatment plan, and recovery journey.

Having been involved in sports from a young age, including soccer, basketball, and volleyball, Kenyu understands the physical and mental challenges that can accompany injury. His personal experiences with sports injuries, rehabilitation, and strength training have fueled his passion for helping patients return to the activities they enjoy. He strongly believes in the importance of exercise and active rehabilitation in reducing pain, restoring function, and helping individuals return to the activities that matter most to them.

Kenyu has experience treating a variety of musculoskeletal conditions, with a particular interest in knee, ankle, and shoulder injuries. He also enjoys working with individuals of all ages experiencing low back pain, neck pain, and other orthopedic conditions.

Outside of the clinic, Kenyu enjoys staying active through sports, spending time outdoors, travelling, and exploring new activities. Most recently, he has taken up ice hockey and enjoys the challenge of learning a new sport.
