Amanda is a graduate of the Humber College Massage Therapy Program and is a member of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario.
She has a history in the athletic field, both coaching and player roles. She has a background with treating musculoskeletal conditions and sports related injuries such as sprains/strains, rotator cuff injuries, post ACL reconstruction surgery, post-surgical Achilles' tendon rupture etc. She also has experience working with special populations such as pregnancy/infants, mental health and addiction, acquired brain injuries, and palliative care.
Amanda has further developed her skills by completing continuing education courses such as Cupping, Advanced Joint Mobilizations, IASTM RockBlades, and Understanding the Complexity of Concussions Clinical Assessment, Treatment, and Rehabilitation.
She uses numerous manual techniques to address patient’s concerns and provides effective treatments to reach patient goals.
