About

Arthur graduated from the University of Ottawa with a Degree in Physiotherapy in 1999. He continued his education with his passion of continued learning and improving the quality of care he can provide for his patients by certifying with Active Release Techniques (ART) in 2006 and has been actively recertifying ever since and is a Full Body ART Provider. He is also a Full Body Graston Technique Practitioner (GT). In addition to certifying in these Gold Standard Soft Tissue Techniques, he is also certified in Dry Needling (DN) for the Full Body.  He is also certified as one ot the few FST Practitioner Physiotherapists in Ottawa.

FST is a series of movements created to separate and organize the many connective tissue layers surrounding the muscles, joints, organs, and bones. It incorporates breathing techniques and traction while taking joints to their available pain free range. Gentle muscle contraction may also be used to achieve length and decrease tone in muscle. Some of the benefits of FST are: improved flexibility, improvements in strength, improved balance, improved coordination, improvements in alignment, correction of pelvic rotations and an overall better quality of life.

He has completed the Mackenzie A and B levels and has a solid understanding of mechanical dysfunctions and Functional Movement. He certified in Shockwave Therapy to help with chronic dysfunctions. Arthur is also Bonefit certified and can provide exercise programs for patients with osteoporosis. Arthur has a keen interest in Sport Specific Rehabilitation and, has certifications in Selective Functional Movement Assessments (SFMA) and is certified with the Exercise Therapy Association (ETA). He utilizes ART, GT, DN, and exercise prescription to help patients recover from injury.

Arthur’s dedication to his involvement in tennis has been there ever since he was young, as a competitive player, as a coach, as a course Facilitator, and as a physiotherapist for tennis players of all levels. He continues to play tennis at a highly competitive level. He is able to provide exceptional service in both official languages for both the English and French population. He enjoys a very physically active lifestyle with his family and believes in improving the quality of life through continuous learning.

His favorite quotation is “the expert in anything was once a beginner.”
