About
Elisa works with patients to get them back to their active self by modifying their current biomechanics through the use of proper shoes and custom-made foot orthotics. She aims to educate them on their aches and pains, why they feel what they’re feeling, and what they can do to feel better and get active again. She helps people get back into the things they want to be doing – like walking, running, playing sports, skiing, snowboarding and more. Elisa graduated from the University of Western Ontario with her Professional Certification of Pedorthics in 2002 after completing her Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and a minor in Human Resources Management from the University of Waterloo in 2000. She is a qualified fitter for Medical Compression Stockings and has been since 2008. Elisa has been a member of the Pedorthic Association of Canada and the College of Pedorthics since 2002. In her spare time, Elisa enjoys playing ultimate Frisbee at a competitive level and competed at Nationals in August 2014 on a Women’s Masters team. She also enjoys travelling, making jewellery for friends and spending time with her husband and two young boys. Recently she crossed off an item on her bucket-list when she went sky-diving for the first time.
