About
Emily is a third year student at the Canadian College of Osteopathy in Toronto.
She started her educational journey by studying Kinesiology at the University of Ottawa and graduated in 2021 with a Bachelor of Human Kinetics with Honor’s. She has also completed an Internship at the University of Ottawa in the Gee Gees Athletic Therapy Clinic. She then discovered Osteopathy and fell in love with the holistic, individualized, and integrative approach to health care. Emily will graduate with a diploma in osteopathic manual therapy (DOMP) in 2025 and a diploma of science in osteopathy in 2026 after completing a series of clinical research.
Emily began working as a physiotherapy assistant with Lifemark in 2018 and knew she wanted to work in a multidisciplinary rehabilitation environment. Emily uses a wide variety of manual therapy techniques including osteoarticular adjustments, muscle energy techniques, cranial sacral therapy, myofascial and soft tissue normalization, strain counterstrain and GOT (general osteopathic technique) Emily treats her clients with compassion and care and is motivated to assist them in their rehabilitation journey. She is passionate about health, anatomy and overall wellness and enjoys learning with her patients every visit.
