About

Leah is a graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University (2018) with an Honours degree in Kinesiology & Physical Education, complemented with a post-graduate certificate in Exercise Science and Lifestyle Management (2019) from Humber College.  Leah has been in an active physical rehabilitative practice for >5 years and joined the South City Physiotherapy team in September 2024, where she did her first internship during university.

She has dedicated her practice to assisting patients of all ages, chronic and acute conditions, and post-operative cases.  She has enhanced her education in fields, such as, pelvic health, osteoporosis (Bone Fit), osteoarthritis (GLA:D), baropodometry, as well as strength and conditioning programs. Her clinical interests lie in gait and postural re-alignment, education, central nervous system awareness and post-trauma care.

Leah strives to assist the improvement of individuals’ functional abilities and confidence with a patient, positive attitude, and approachable teaching style. Through therapeutic exercise, Leah helps patients connect with their own proprioceptive awareness and relationship with their central nervous system to support a safe recovery during their time spent at South City Physiotherapy.

In her own time, Leah continues to practice her own exercise routines by frequently attending the gym, competing in equestrian sports, and spending time with her horse, Jack.
