About

Martine graduated from Dalhousie University with a Master in Physiotherapy in 2011 and a Bachelor in Science of Kinesiology in 2008. She continued her education to assure quality of care for her patients by completing the level 1 & 2 manual therapy (CPA orthopedic division), level 1 & 2 acupuncture and dry needling, APTEI: AdvancedLumbo-Pelvic Complex & Advanced Lower Extremity, Kinesiotape level 1&2 and Sports Physiotherapy by Bruce Craven. Martine also completed the WorkWell Functional Capacity Evaluation course and Cancer C.A.R.E. Rehabilitation course. Since 2015, she has taken a keen interest with the Concussion and Vestibular rehab by taking numerous courses including: intro to advanced vestibular and concussion training, Impact training, Padula NVPT level 1-3 with ongoing training.

Martine has always had and interest in sports, particularly cross-country running, golf, soccer, and volleyball. In high school she played on AAA and provincial teams. During her studies, Martine was a trainer/therapist for the Dalhousie football team and has continued in this role with the Ramblers Junior A hockey team in Amherst 2011-2013, 2017-19. Martine enjoys many different activities with her family including hockey, figure skating, traveling, going for hikes and boating.
