Puja Patel
About
Puja graduated with a Bachelor's in Physiotherapy from Maharashtra University, India. With extensive experience in outpatient orthopedic settings, she leverages her comprehensive background to explore the full scope of physical therapy. She has worked as an ergonomist with a multinational company and as a sports therapist with a cricket team in state leagues.
Additionally, Puja is a certified yoga instructor and is certified in Kinesio taping, dry needling, instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization, and neurodynamic solutions for nerve disorders.
With expertise in physical therapy and yoga, Puja is well-equipped to assist individuals with various musculoskeletal and sports injuries, as well as work-related muscular disorders. She adopts a holistic and evidence-based approach to help her patients thrive and feel empowered during rehabilitation. She supports patients in achieving their goals by offering a blend of manual therapy, soft tissue manipulation, dry needling, orthopedic taping, and progressive rehabilitative exercises.
Puja believes in teaching patients how to self-manage symptoms, allowing them to participate in and return to activities that are meaningful to them. Because each person's situation is different, her treatment approach focuses on active listening and relationship building, ensuring patients understand the "why" behind their individualized plans.
Outside of the clinic, she enjoys running and biking, hiking and camping with friends & family, doing Aerial yoga, painting, and reading.
