About

Rebecca is a qualified Occupational Therapist licensed to practice in Ontario.  She is registered and in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO) as well as a member of the Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists (OSOT).  She obtained an Honours Undergraduate Arts Degree in Sociology from the University of Guelph and a Master of Occupational Therapy from the University of British Columbia. 

She has experience in the physical, functional, cognitive, and psychosocial evaluation of individuals who are experiencing difficulties performing their essential tasks of daily living due to illness and/or injury.  She is trained to complete Cognitive Abilities Evaluations (CAE), and has obtained a certificate in the completion of Cognitive Demands Analysis (CDA).  She is a WorkWell certified functional capacity evaluator, trained with using the Progressive Goal Attainment Program (PGAP), has a Certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Trauma Therapy; has her Level 2 in Motivational Interviewing; and provides psychotherapy. 

She has provided mentoring to Occupational Therapists since 2015 and is the Occupational Therapy Lead for Ontario.

When not working, Rebecca loves running on trails or anything active outside, yoga, reading a good book, and spending time with her family.
