About
Sana Ansari is a Physiotherapist with over 13 years of clinical experience in providing rehabilitation services across diverse healthcare settings. She completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Topiwala National Medical College & B.Y.L. Nair Hospital, Mumbai, a renowned tertiary care institution in India.
Sana’s professional journey began in 2013 in Mumbai, India, where she started practicing as a Physiotherapist in hospital and clinical settings. She later gained further clinical experience in Nashik, India, managing patients across adult, geriatric, and pediatric populations with a wide range of musculoskeletal, orthopedic, neurological, sports-related, workplace, and post-operative conditions.
She further expanded her international experience by working in Doha, Qatar, in multispecialty hospitals and clinics, where she provided physiotherapy care to diverse patient populations and collaborated with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Currently practicing in Calgary, Canada, Sana is registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta and continues to offer patient-centred physiotherapy care. She is certified in Dry Needling and has completed her Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy certification. She focuses on individualized treatment planning, manual therapy, exercise rehabilitation, and education to help patients reduce pain, restore function, improve mobility, and achieve their rehabilitation goals.
Sana is a registered member of the Maharashtra Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy Council, Mumbai, India and the Department of Healthcare Professions, Doha, Qatar.
Her approach combines clinical expertise, evidence-based practice, and active rehabilitation to support patients in achieving long-term recovery and improved quality of life.
Outside of her professional life, Sana enjoys cooking and values spending quality time with her family. She also believes in maintaining a healthy balance between her personal and professional life.
