About

Shweta is a highly skilled Registered Physiotherapist with over six years of experience in orthopedic and acute care rehabilitation. She specializes in pain management, fall prevention, and post-surgical rehabilitation, focusing on functional movement, activity modification, and patient education to promote long-term recovery.

Her treatment approach is rooted in the biopsychosocial model, integrating exercise therapy, manual therapy, and activity modification to address both the physical and psychological aspects of rehabilitation. She believes in a holistic approach that combines evidence-based physiotherapy with mind-body techniques such as yoga and breathing exercises to optimize patient outcomes.

Shweta holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Health Science (Rehabilitation) from Auckland University of Technology (AUT), New Zealand, where she gained expertise in pain science, exercise prescription, and rehabilitation strategies for acute and chronic conditions. She also conducted research on muscle activation in chronic low back pain patients, further strengthening her clinical reasoning skills. Additionally, she holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy from MMU, Mullana, India, and has completed specialized training in Soft Tissue Mobilization, Osteopathic Manipulation, and Muscle Energy Techniques.

Beyond physiotherapy, Shweta has a deep passion for meditation and yoga, recognizing their role in stress management, pain relief, and overall well-being. She actively incorporates mindfulness techniques into her rehabilitation plans, helping patients improve their mental resilience, movement quality, and functional independence.

In her free time, she enjoys photography, capturing life’s moments, and continuously expanding her knowledge in functional rehabilitation, holistic wellness, and pain science.
