About

Tanya has been with Lifemark since 2009. She graduated from University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy in 1997 and a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education in 1994. Tanya’s career experience prior to returning to Saskatchewan included realms of healthcare in orthopaedic sports medicine clinics, inpatient acute and post operative care, rehabilitation hospital centers in Texas and Hawaii.

Her post graduate training includes Certification in McKenzie Diagnosis and Treatment (Cert MDT); specializing in the treatment of neck and back pain, Functional Dry Needling Acupuncture (FDN), Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), Certified in Functional Movement Screen (FMS), Selective Movement Analysis (SFMA), Certified TRX instructor, and post graduate courses in Tempomandibular Disorders. Tanya has taken numerous orthopaedic manual therapy courses with em-phasis of training through the North American Institute of Manual Therapy level system. Tanya’s special areas of interest for treatment are recrational sport, work related and accidental injuries.

Tanya enjoys an active lifestyle. She has completed multiple marathons including the highlight of the Xterra trail championships in Oahu, Hawaii. Recreational sports, both individual and team, have always been a part of Tanya’s lifestyle which she continues with her two boys and husband.
