PT, MScPT
Physiotherapist

About

Taylor grew up in Edmonton playing competitive hockey for over 15 years. Having sustained minor injuries while playing hockey, he found his passion for physiotherapy at a young age. He graduated from the University of Alberta with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy. Prior to this, Taylor obtained a degree in Biological Sciences with a Major in Psychology.

This diverse background allows him to take a more eclectic approach in working with clients by considering social and psychological aspects of treatment in addition to physical manifestations. He encourages an active approach to treatment with functional exercises, manual therapy, and most importantly empowering the client with the knowledge and tools needed to best manage their condition on their own.

Taylor is also certified in functional dry needling and is a certified Complete Concussion Management provider.

When Taylor is not working, he enjoys playing sports such as hockey, basketball, ping-pong, tennis, and squash. Taylor is also currently playing hockey for the Senior AA Morinville Kings this winter. He believes giving back to the community is also important – he has many years of experience volunteering with various organizations such as Alberta Health Services, University of Alberta, and senior support programs.
