About

Tyler graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology before completing his Master of Science in Physiotherapy in London, England. He takes a tailored, evidence-based approach to rehabilitation, blending education, exercise, and manual therapy to create personalized treatment plans that support both recovery and long-term health. Tyler is committed to helping clients return to the activities they value most, and he ensures that treatment aligns with their lifestyle, daily routines, and personal priorities. His goal is not only to restore movement and function but also to build resilience and confidence for the future.

His path to physiotherapy began with his own history of sports and activity-related injuries, which gave him a deep understanding of the frustration that comes from being unable to do the things you love. Those experiences, combined with his passion for movement and human performance, inspired him to pursue a career where he could guide others through similar challenges. As an avid rock climber and self-described “movement nerd,” Tyler appreciates the physical and mental dedication it takes to overcome setbacks and return stronger.

Tyler's treatment style is active, hands-on, and practical, with a strong emphasis on client education and empowerment. While he prioritizes exercise-based rehabilitation, manual therapy, and active strategies, he also incorporates passive modalities when appropriate to optimize the recovery process. This balanced approach ensures that every client receives the most effective combination of techniques for their unique situation. Whether the goal is returning to sport, resuming work, or simply keeping up with the demands of an active lifestyle, clients can expect comprehensive care, clear guidance, and a collaborative approach in every session with Tyler.

Outside of the clinic, Tyler can often be found hanging off a boulder, hiking or snowboarding in the mountains, or digging into the latest research in rehabilitation and performance. His curiosity for movement and the outdoors keeps him inspired to bring fresh energy and knowledge into his physiotherapy practice.
