
Carolyn Quinton Smith
About
Carolyn received her degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto in 1992. She has a broad base of clinical experiences working in private practice, rehabilitation clinics, hospitals, work conditioning programs, home care therapy and specialized assessment centres. Carolyn has completed many post graduate courses including the Level 3 Manual Therapy courses, her Certification in IMS, Acute and Chronic Sports Concussion, Level One Acupuncture Certification, Certification as a Running Assessor, multiple Myofascial Release courses, Medical Exercise Therapy courses and she is a Certified Functional Abilities Evaluator.
While attending U of T, Carolyn was a varsity level athlete and Female Athlete of the Year at her College. She continues to be active in a wide variety of sports, particularly mountain biking and skiing and has a special interest in treating running injuries. Carolyn has years of experience working with work injured and MVA injured clients and those with orthopaedic, rheumatologic and joint replacement/post surgical conditions. Carolyn works one on one with her clients and delivers a comprehensive, individualized treatment program to acheive their unique therapy goals and best outcomes.
