
Gabrielle Runnquist
About
Gabrielle is a qualified Occupational Therapist licensed to practice in Ontario. She is registered in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO) as well as a member of the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT). Gabrielle graduated from the University of Ottawa with a Master of Health Science in Occupational Therapy (MHSc OT) in 2019. Gabrielle graduated from Laurentian University in 2017 with an Honours Degree in Physical and Health Education with a concentration in Health Promotion.
She has experience in the physical, functional, cognitive as well as psychosocial assessment of individuals who are experiencing difficulties performing and participating in their daily activities. She is a WorkWell certified Functional Capacity evaluator, is able to complete Cognitive Abilities Evaluation, is a trained Progressive Goal Attainment Program (PGAP) Provider and has taken courses in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Trauma Therapy and Motivational Interviewing.
She strives to optimize her client’s function and to enable them to do the things that are important to them. She believes that it is important to have a well-balanced lifestyle. Gabrielle is able to provide services in both English as well as in French.
Gabrielle enjoys spending time with her friends and family and loves to stay active, whether it be hiking outside, doing Zumba or figure skating. She believes that it is important to have a well-balanced lifestyle.
