About

Janna is a Physiotherapy Resident from Wellington, Nova Scotia. She completed her Master of Physiotherapy at Dalhousie University in 2024, after earning a Bachelor of Human Kinetics and Recreation from Memorial University in 2022.

With a focus on exercise-based rehabilitation and pain management, Janna is dedicated to helping patients address not only their immediate concerns but also achieve long-term improvements in their physical health. Her treatments center around therapeutic exercise and education, with manual therapy and modalities incorporated as needed. Janna empowers her patients to become active participants in their own recovery by explaining the science behind their condition and providing them with the appropriate tools to manage their health independently. She enjoys collaborating with patients to help them achieve their goals, whether it’s returning to work or sport, or simply improving overall health and well-being.

As an active individual herself, Janna has a strong appreciation for the many benefits of physical activity. She was a university-level track & field athlete at Memorial University and has been involved in gymnastics for many years. Janna has eight years of experience coaching recreational gymnastics, where she continues to help athletes build strength, flexibility, and confidence.

When she’s not working with patients or staying active, she enjoys reading and spending time with her dog.

She looks forward to working with you and helping you achieve your goals.
