About
Matt graduated with a BSc in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo in 2017. He then graduated with a MSc in Physiotherapy from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2020.
Matt is a keen learner and is always looking to add more skills and knowledge to his repertoire. Since graduating, Matt has completed additional training in Functional Dry Needling, Post-Concussion Rehabilitation, Mulligan Manual Therapy, McKenzie Method Therapy for Low Back Pain and recently obtained his Level 1 in Selective Functional Movement Assessments.
Matt has a passion working with seniors and enjoys promoting their independence and functional abilities. Matt is a BoneFit Trained Professional and can effectively help individuals living with osteoporosis exercise safely.
Matt loves to travel but is also excited to be back near home in Simcoe County, having grown up in Orillia. Matt enjoys playing sports including soccer, baseball, golf, tennis, and beach volleyball. Although his competitive days are far behind him, he still enjoys the challenges of working with elite athletes in the community. You might find Matt out on the football field or at the finish line for local Ironman Competitions, where he enjoys doing Sport Physiotherapy coverage with local Simcoe County athletes.
In his free time, Matt enjoys mountain biking, golfing, weight training, yoga, reading and going on hikes.
