About

Sara graduated from McMaster University with a Bachelor of Health Sciences in Physiotherapy. After graduating, Sara spent the next 25 years practicing as a physiotherapist and raising a family in Cambridge, Ontario. Over her two decades of practice, Sara has worked mainly in outpatient orthopedic settings, hospitals, private clinics, and manufacturing settings, dealing in workplace injuries, sports-related injuries, back and neck injuries, and arthritic conditions.

Sara has experience as a staff physiotherapist, consultant and clinical manager. She has instructed and coordinated student placements at Conestoga College in the OTA/PTA and continuing education OTA/PTA programs. Through her experience in the programs, Sara chaired the OTA/PTA provincial subcommittee and took part in curriculum review and development.

Sara has taken multiple orthopedic courses to further hone her craft. These include muscle energy, strain counter strain, Cyriax, McKenzie (level A,B,C), McMaster University acupuncture level one, to name a few.

In her personal life, Sara has been involved in her children’s schooling and extra-curriculars. Sara was a Strong Start program volunteer and past secretary for the Hockey Mothers Association in Cambridge minor hockey. Currently, she spectates and supports at her children’s football games.
