The main branch office is located in downtown St. Johns in the HealthPlex. The office takes up three floors of the building, and is wheelchair accessible.
Additional locations are in Corner Brook and Marystown, but FIT For Work staff often travel offsite to treat and assess patients in their homes, work places and communities. FIT For Work is committed to providing services across all of Newfoundland and Labrador.
FIT For Work offers services in Rehabilitation Assessment and Treamtnet, as well as Occupational Health & Wellness.
Our Rehabilitation Services include: Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Kinesiology, Psychology / Psychotherapy, Vocational Evaluations, Work Conditioning Programs, Gradual Return to Work Programs, Psychosocial Risk Factor Interventions, Functional Capacity Evaluations, Cognitive Abilities Evaluations, Interdisciplinary Assessment/Treatment programs, Custom Orthotics, Foot Care Nursing, as well as Activation Programs for Mental Health and Chronic Illness.
Our Occupational Health & Wellness and Employer Servicess include: Independent Medical Examinations, Vaccination clinics, Pre-Employment functional testing, Health Surveillance programs, Specialized Employment Medicals, Hearing/Vision/Spirometry/EKG assessments, Drug & Alcohol testing, Blood/Urine testing, Substance Abuse Evaluations, Disability Management services, Ergonomic Assessments, Physical/Cognitive Demands Analysis, Health/Wellness education and Screening programs.
